Wisk Aero Completes First Flight of Gen 6 Autonomous eVTOL Air Taxi

Wisk Aero completed the first flight of its full-scale Gen 6 autonomous eVTOL air taxi on December 16. The untethered hover flight, conducted in California, involved the fully autonomous execution of a preprogrammed flight plan.

This achievement is a significant step in Wisk's plan to develop and certify one of the world's first uncrewed passenger-carrying aircraft, with further flight testing planned to expand the flight envelope.
