Eve Air Mobility Completes First Flight of Full-Scale eVTOL Prototype

Eve Air Mobility, the electric aircraft subsidiary of Embraer, successfully conducted the first flight of its full-scale electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) engineering prototype on December 19.

The uncrewed hover test, which took place in Brazil, validated the integration of core systems like its fly-by-wire controls and fixed-pitch lifter rotors. This milestone marks the beginning of a broader flight test campaign, with Eve targeting type certification, first deliveries, and entry into service by 2027.
